Electronic invoicing 2026-2027: How Yuman simplifies everything

Electronic invoicing 2026-2027: How Yuman simplifies everything

Friday 14 november 2025

France is preparing to switch to a new model of mandatory electronic invoicing. Between Factur-X formats, PDP platforms, PPF (new version of Chorus Pro) and VAT e-reporting, the subject may seem technical, even opaque. Yet this reform will affect all companies, without exception.

In this article, we clearly explain what's changing, what the acronyms PDP and PPF really stand for, and above all how Yuman CMMS takes care of all the technical mechanics to keep you focused on your business.

Why electronic invoicing?

The French reform, aligned with European standards, has three major objectives:

  • Fight VAT fraud through automated, standardized reporting.
  • Accelerate and make inter-company exchanges more reliable, by replacing unstructured PDFs with electronic formats readable by accounting systems.
  • Fluidify invoicing processes, reduce payment times and enable automation.

In other words: fewer manual tasks, more automation, and more robust accounting management for all companies.

Factur-X: the new standard

The first pillar of the reform is Factur-X, a hybrid invoice format combining:

  • a PDF readable by all,
  • a structured XML file complying with European standard EN16931.

This format is becoming mandatory to guarantee interoperability between software and administrations.

With Yuman, all your invoices will be able to be automatically generated in Factur-X format, with no additional action, and no workflow changes.

PDP and PPF: two possible paths

This is the part that raises the most questions. Here, at last, is a clear explanation.

PPF - Portail Public de Facturation (c'is the replacement for Chorus Pro)

The PPF is the State's official platform. All companies will need to be able to receive invoices there.

It can also be used to send invoices if the company does not use a private platform.

The PPF performs three functions:

  • receiving and transmitting invoices,
  • technical validations,
  • e-reporting VAT to the DGFIP.

PDP - Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire

PDPs are private platforms, certified by the tax authorities.

They enable:

  • direct transmission between PDPs,
  • enriched tracking of invoice statuses,
  • multiple formats (Factur-X, UBL, CII),
  • extensive integrations with ERP and accounting software.

Yuman MANAGES the whole reform

The strength of a business software like Yuman is its ability to absorb regulatory complexity so that your teams don't have to change anything in the way they work.

With Yuman:

  1. You continue to create your invoices as you do today: no heavy training, no break in your processes
  2. Yuman automatically generates 100% compliant invoices: Factur-X, UBL or CII as required, with the required tax data
  3. The platform sends your invoices via: PPF (Chorus), the standard, most direct route
  4. All exchanges are traced: you can track routing, receipt, status and processing by the customer
  5. VAT e-reporting is automated: no more re-entering, no more errors, no more files to be filed manually

What benefits?

Beyond mandatory compliance, the reform brings real benefits:

  • Reduction in invoice processing time
  • Reduction in administrative costs linked to reminders and errors
  • Reliance of accounting data
  • Significant improvement in payment times
  • Automation of financial workflows

Yuman adds to this direct integration into your CMMS, eliminating duplication and streamlining the invoicing chain, from the field to accounting.
